I first used rotoscoping in my senior film in college. As seen above in a spot for Nickelodeon, rotoscope has a wonderful personal touch. I composited, revised line weights and edited the whole spot in After Effects. It looks simple, but all the artists at Calabash and the actor had to be in sync to the goal. It was very cohesive and I think the story is great too!
